Odoo implementation cost in India has two parts: the licence (free for Community, per user per month for Enterprise) and the implementation work (setup, data import, training and customisation). In India, Odoo's list price in October 2026 is ₹725 per user per month on Standard and ₹1,350 on Custom, billed yearly, and Odoo's own implementation Success Packs start at ₹18,580. This guide explains both parts, the Community vs Enterprise choice, and how the picture changes in the UAE.
Who this is for: business owners and finance heads evaluating Odoo in India (including Kerala) and the GCC: the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah), Qatar (Doha), Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman (Muscat), typically with 5 to 150 users.
Key takeaways
- Odoo Community is free (LGPLv3); Odoo Enterprise is a per-user subscription with more apps, Studio and official support.
- India list prices (Oct 2026): Standard ₹725 and Custom ₹1,350 per user per month, billed yearly; a 12-month discount currently applies to initial users.
- Odoo's own Success Packs in India range from ₹18,580 (4 hours) to ₹6,64,831 (200 hours), with 15% off a new customer's first pack.
- Odoo.sh hosting, third-party modules and custom code maintenance cost extra.
- In the UAE and GCC, Odoo prices by country, so check the local price list; add VAT and 2027 e-invoicing readiness to scope.

Odoo implementation cost: Success Packs and partners
Odoo says smaller companies (under 50 employees) usually buy implementation directly through Success Packs, while mid-size and larger companies usually work with a partner. Here are the published India Success Pack prices:
| Pack | Consultant hours | Price | New customer price (15% off first pack) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 4 | ₹18,580 | ₹15,793 |

Odoo Community vs Enterprise cost
Community saves the licence fee, but several apps and features are Enterprise-only, and you'll rely on a partner or your own team for hosting, upgrades and support. Choose it when your needs are covered by Community apps and you have technical support you trust.
Enterprise costs more each year but includes official support, hosting on Odoo Online, upgrades for standard features and the full app set. Choose Standard if you need no Studio, no multi-company and no custom code. Choose Custom if you need any of those; Odoo moves you to Custom automatically when you install Studio or add a second company.
Licence-only illustration: 15 users in India
Using list prices, billed yearly, before tax:
- Community: ₹0 licence, plus hosting and partner support
- Enterprise Standard: 15 × ₹725 × 12 = ₹1,30,500 a year
- Enterprise Custom: 15 × ₹1,350 × 12 = ₹2,43,000 a year
Add implementation on top: for example, Odoo's Standard Success Pack (50 hours) lists at ₹1,86,153. Licence fees recur every year and grow with users; implementation is mostly a one-time cost.
Hidden costs to plan for
- Odoo.sh hosting on the Custom plan, priced by workers, storage and staging environments (Odoo.sh pricing)
- Third-party apps from the Odoo app store, and their upgrades
- Custom code maintenance, which Odoo lists as not included
- Data migration from Tally, Excel or old software, especially history and cleaning
- Training beyond the hours in your pack
- Version upgrades for custom modules
Odoo implementation cost in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman
The cost structure in the UAE is the same: licence per user per month plus implementation. Odoo shows different prices by country, so businesses in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Kuwait, Bahrain and Muscat should check odoo.com/pricing from their own location for the current local figure.
Two GCC factors affect scope:
- VAT setup: 5% in the UAE and Oman, 15% in Saudi Arabia and 10% in Bahrain. Qatar and Kuwait had not introduced VAT as of October 2026.
- E-invoicing: UAE businesses with revenue of AED 50 million or more go live on 1 January 2027 and the rest on 1 July 2027, through Accredited Service Providers. Saudi businesses need ZATCA e-invoicing, which Odoo documents in its Saudi localisation.
Build these into your scope from day one; retrofitting them later costs more.
How to keep Odoo costs under control
- Count paid users carefully. Use portal access and light users where they fit.
- Start on Standard if you don't need Studio, multi-company or custom code.
- Phase the rollout: accounting, sales, purchase and inventory first; add the rest later.
- Clean your data before migration.
- Compare a three-year total, not just year one. Our ERPNext vs Odoo 2026 comparison shows how licence fees add up over time, and the ERPNext implementation cost guide gives the no-licence alternative.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Odoo implementation cost in India?
It has two parts. Licences: Odoo's India list price is ₹725 per user per month on Standard or ₹1,350 on Custom, billed yearly. Implementation: Odoo's own Success Packs range from ₹18,580 for 4 hours to ₹6,64,831 for 200 hours, with 15% off a new customer's first pack. Partners quote by scope.
Is Odoo Community really free?
The Community edition is open source under LGPLv3, so there is no licence fee. You still pay for hosting, implementation, any third-party modules and support. Some apps and features exist only in Enterprise, so check your must-haves against Community before assuming it will cover everything.
What is the difference between Odoo Standard and Custom plans?
Both include all Odoo apps. Standard runs on Odoo Online only. Custom adds Odoo Studio, multi-company, external API access and the choice of Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting. If you add Studio or a second company, Odoo moves you to Custom automatically.
How much does Odoo cost in the UAE?
Odoo sets licence prices by country, so check odoo.com/pricing from a UAE connection for the current figure. The structure is the same as India: per user, per month, on Standard or Custom, with implementation on top. VAT at 5% applies to UAE invoices, and 2027 e-invoicing readiness should be part of scope.
Who counts as a paid user in Odoo?
According to Odoo, a paying user is anyone with backend access who creates, views or edits documents, plus employees in the HR app without a linked user. Customers and suppliers using the portal, and website visitors placing orders, are free. Light users, such as shop-floor or POS employees, are priced lower.
Is Odoo cheaper than ERPNext?
For very small teams, Odoo's One App Free or Standard plan can be inexpensive. As users grow, Odoo's per-user subscription adds up every year, while ERPNext has no licence fee. Implementation costs can be similar. Compare a three-year total for your user count rather than the first-year price.
